Ashish is an Investment Advisor and Vice President at Evoke Advisors. He began his career as an Equity Research Associate at Hambrecht & Quist (H&Q), a premier investment bank, which was subsequently acquired by JP Morgan Chase. While there, he authored and published financial models, company analysis, and investment recommendations on enterprise software companies for institutional investors. After H&Q, he spent time as a Product Marketing Manager and Consultant analyzing and evaluating the e-commerce and business intelligence marketplace for Escalate, a venture backed start-up, and Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Evoke, Ashish served as a Portfolio Manager in the fixed income group at Oakhurst Capital Management, a $1 billion asset manager. At Oakhurst, he oversaw the firm’s corporate high yield strategies and co-managed their investment grade solutions for a diverse set of investors including pension funds, foundations, endowments, and high-net-worth clients.

Ashish received dual BA degrees in economics and environmental science from UC Berkeley. He earned his MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC and was a recipient of the Guildford C. Babcock Endowed Scholarship. Ashish lives in West Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
